Dreamforce 2026: Innovation in Action

September 2026
How client challenges, creative collaboration, and technical ingenuity are shaping the next generation of event experiences.

Some of the best innovations don't begin in a research lab. They begin with a client asking, "Is there a better way to do this?"

‍

For Mountain View Staging (MVS), Dreamforce has been a catalyst for exactly that kind of thinking.

‍

As one of our largest and most significant recurring productions, Dreamforce continually challenges us to rethink how technology can improve communication, maximize space, and create more engaging experiences.

‍

Working alongside Salesforce and agency partners including George P. Johnson (GPJ) and several others, MVS brings years of production experience and technical expertise to the table. Together, we explore solutions that meet the event's evolving needs, and sometimes develop entirely new ways of doing things.

‍

Dreamforce 2026 was a showcase of that collaborative innovation.

‍

‍

When Client Challenges Inspire New Technology

‍

Managing communications and delivering interactive experiences across a large, constantly evolving event presents unique challenges. Attendees need accurate information. Organizers need flexibility. And exhibitors need engaging ways to demonstrate their products and connect with audiences.

‍

These kinds of challenges helped inspire the development and evolution of MVS Marquee, our proprietary digital signage and interactive demonstration platform.

‍

Marquee goes beyond traditional digital signage by allowing multiple types of content to share a single screen. For example, a display can feature static branding or messaging at the top, rotating content in the middle, and an interactive demonstration station at the bottom, giving staff and attendees the ability to engage directly with the technology.

‍

And when interactive functionality isn't needed, Marquee can operate as a standalone digital signage solution, with content centrally managed and updated across multiple displays.

‍

At Dreamforce 2026, MVS Marquee continued to play an important role throughout the show campus, supporting flexible messaging, wayfinding, branding, and interactive experiences.

‍

But the bigger story is what happens when a production partner understands a client's needs well enough to develop solutions specifically for them.

‍

Technology that began by addressing the demands of complex events has become part of a growing family of MVS solutions available to clients of all sizes.

‍

‍

MVS Marquee Max: A New Level of Flexibility

‍

Dreamforce 2026 also provided an opportunity to showcase MVS Marquee Max, the newest addition to our digital signage family.

‍

Marquee Max takes a different approach to LED signage. Instead of requiring a fixed installation, its portable, bi-fold and tri-fold LED panels on wheels can be positioned and configured to meet the needs of different event environments.

‍

Multiple units can be connected to create larger displays, while integrated processing and simplified content control help reduce setup complexity.

The possibilities extend well beyond traditional signage. From dynamic branding and wayfinding to presentations, sponsor messaging, and flexible visual environments, Marquee Max gives event planners another tool for communicating with attendees.

‍

Its appearance at Dreamforce demonstrated an important principle behind MVS innovation: The best technology doesn't dictate how an event must operate. It adapts to how the event needs to work.

‍

‍

Turning Sound Constraints into Opportunity

‍

Not every production challenge requires inventing a new product. Sometimes innovation means finding a smarter application for existing technology.

‍

At Dreamforce, one of those opportunities involved audio.

‍

With numerous breakout sessions, workshops, and presentation theaters operating simultaneously, sound interference can limit where sessions can be held. Traditional amplified audio requires separation between presentations, which can make otherwise available space difficult to use.

‍

MVS helped overcome those limitations through the extensive deployment of wireless silent-disco headsets.

‍

Attendees could listen directly to presentation audio through individual headsets, allowing multiple sessions to take place in close proximity without competing sound systems.

‍

This approach created opportunities to utilize areas that might otherwise have been impractical for simultaneous programming.

‍

For event planners, the benefits go beyond quieter rooms. Silent-disco technology can increase programming flexibility, make better use of available square footage, and create a more focused listening experience.

‍

Instead of allowing the environment to limit the program, technology helped the program make better use of the environment.

‍

‍

Where Creative Vision Meets Technical Ingenuity

‍

The most successful event innovations rarely happen in isolation.

‍

They happen when creative teams, technical experts, and clients work together early enough to challenge assumptions and explore new possibilities.

‍

At Dreamforce, MVS collaborates with agency partners such as GPJ and and others, combining their creative vision and understanding of the attendee experience with our production expertise and technical problem-solving.

‍

These relationships are especially valuable because they are built on trust.

‍

When agency partners know they can rely on MVS to evaluate an idea, identify potential challenges, and find practical ways to bring it to life, the conversation can move beyond conventional solutions.

‍

Instead of asking only what equipment is available, we can ask what experience we're trying to create, and how technology might help us achieve it.

‍

That mindset has contributed to the evolution of MVS Marquee, the introduction of Marquee Max, and the creative use of silent-disco technology in demanding event environments.

‍

It's also what keeps longstanding partnerships fresh, collaborative, and forward-looking.

‍

‍

Innovation That Extends Beyond Dreamforce

‍

Dreamforce may be one of the industry's most demanding production environments, but the lessons learned there have applications far beyond a single event.

‍

A digital signage solution developed to address complex communication needs can help a smaller conference respond to last-minute changes.

‍

A portable LED display can give an event planner greater flexibility without requiring a permanent installation.

‍

A wireless headset system can transform a challenging venue into a more functional learning environment.

‍

These are practical innovations with real benefits for event organizers, agencies, and attendees.

‍

And they're a direct reflection of how MVS approaches production: listening to client needs, anticipating challenges, and applying experience and technology to create better outcomes.

‍

For MVS, Dreamforce isn't simply an opportunity to showcase what we can do. It's an opportunity to discover what we can do next.
